Australia’s mangroves
Permanent collection of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London.
In October 2023, I gifted 88 mangrove paintings and working illustrations to the Library, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London.
The paintings form a body of work that is the result of seven years studio and field research of Australia's mangrove species and the subject of my PhD (Natural History Illustration) from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
Kew library's custodianship ensures the paintings' safe-keeping in a world-renowned institution and, importantly for me, allows access by the general public.
